Sometimes, we spend more time at work than with our loved ones. Because of this, it is crucial that the time we spend at work is interesting, and fun, and that the environment we are in during that time is enjoyable, having a strong culture. In fact, we are proud that our employees perceive it as LIFE! So, it´s not about work-life balance - it is about making our WORK-LIFE magnificent!

Helping our people prosper.

Enjoyable workplace, team spirit, feeling safe and welcomed are main points we offer to our employees. That is the most important base for our professionals to prosper, be productive, dedicated and provide expert service to our clients. And how do we create an enjoyable culture in Sixsentix Austria? Let’s see some examples:

1. Work outside the office but meet with coworkers on a weekly basis

In past months, due to worldwide pandemic situation, our colleagues have been working remotely. However, we still try to meet every Wednesday at  the Office, if the situation allows us. Our “Office Days” start with a delicious breakfast, a cup of coffee, and a chance to discuss both business and non-business topics. Personal social contact is always in our focus, and is one of the key ways to nurture team spirit and enjoyable work culture.

2. Flexibility of working hours... not only for the parents

I recently came back from the maternity leave. I'm a mom of three and it is sometimes a challenge to juggle my career with family time. However, I feel very thankful both to Roland Strahlhofer, as well as to the wonderful colleagues I work with, that I am able to have the part time job with flexible working hours. Everyone respects my schedule, and my job can be done easily and stress-free. This contributes greatly to my physical well-being.

3. TRUSTING employees

Trusting our employees and allowing them the freedom to provide value and be productive in their own time and on their own terms, as long as they respect the milestones and timelines agreed upon. Trust is crucial for our promotion of an active work-life balance. Placing trust in yourself, your colleagues, the job you do, and the company management  and their vision means that you are a true Sixsentix Magic Six Values ambassador.

Sixsentix helps employees maintain work-life balance by trusting us and not putting unnecessary pressure. I feel trusted and consequently have motivation to justify this trust when it comes to executing my tasks and reaching my deadlines. Additionally, I do not feel micromanaged and thus believe my development flow to be solid and undisturbed.

What does the term work-life balance mean to you?

MK: Challenging my mind at work but having time for my hobbies and interests; Separating private and professional life but keeping the two in harmony with each other; Discovering my limits but not breaking boundaries; Learning about myself and yet not working against myself. That is what I think work life balance stands for.

How do you see Sixsentix helping employees to maintain work-life balance?

MK: First of all, I feel no pressure is being imposed on me when it comes to executing my tasks and reaching my deadlines. I feel trusted and consequently have motivation to justify this trust.

Additionally, I do not feel micromanaged and thus believe my development flow to be solid and undisturbed.

What is your opinion about the company culture and what makes it unique?

MK: Company culture is constantly developing but some values are there since the very beginning. Giving me space and time to grow and prove my skills, letting me “do things my way” rather than telling me what to do and finally, cherishing the cult of continuous improvement is the combo that makes Sixsentix unique and a rarity on the market.

In the past months, we had to work mainly remotely. How has this situation impacted your work life balance? Have you changed any work- related routines/habits that had a significant impact in your life?

MK: I embraced this circumstance (laughing out loud). In accordance with all above mentioned, I had the freedom to do HO when it pleased me which I find handsomely convenient for my work life balance.

Last but not least: why are you happy to work for Sixsentix?

MK: Although I could list quite a few important reasons for being a part of Sixsentix team, I will mention the crucial one. People leading Sixsentix are visionaries. This motivates me to make my own contribution in a natural and creative way with the feeling I am being part of a well-functioning system which gives my work purpose and meaning.
